​ The focus of this workshop will be to further develop the student's orientation and mobility skills with a particular focus on train travel. Dublin Bus Travel Assist staff will be supporting us with this aspect of the workshop. The students will also have an opportunity to interact and socialise with their peers and staff

In this one day workshop, we will work with students on their cane skills including outdoor mobility and road crossings. We will also be covering independent living skills including shopping, menu planning, and food preparation. This workshop will also provide students with the opportunity to interact and socialise with their peers and have some fun!

This online workshop will offer an opportunity for parents and students to discuss all aspects of Assistive Technology (AT)  in preparation for transition to Secondary school with advice and support from AT trainer Mary Byrne.
