Being out and about safely

There are a number of different ways a person who is blind or vision impaired can become mobile. Your Community Resource Worker will discuss various mobility solutions with you should this be an area you are having difficulties with. Orientation and Mobility training is available from our mobility officers across the country.

Connection Network Programme

Connection Network Programme

Vision Ireland’s Connection Network Programme is a free, confidential, befriending and informative service for our service users who are in need of social contact through a weekly telephone call. Staying connected during Covid19 to avoid isolation and loneliness was so important to our service users. We want to continue this in post Covid19 Ireland.
