Volunteers play a crucial role in helping deliver our services or in the operation of our stores. We have volunteers placed across the country. We’re fortunate to have many volunteers giving of their time and skills but we’re always in need of additional help. If you are interested in volunteering with us, here’s some information you’ll need to know.
How much time commitment do I have to give?
The time commitment varies depending on the role you are interested in but ideally at least two hours per week.
What training/support will I receive?
All volunteers will receive ongoing training and support from their supervisor. All will receive induction training on site and be required to watch the Vision Ireland Induction video.
Do I need a particular experience to volunteer?
Not usually, as you will receive all the training you need once you are in post. Any specific experience required will be listed in the volunteer role description.
How do I apply?
