The Spider Awards – dubbed “The Oscars of Ireland’s digital industry” – is the longest running digital awards programme in Ireland.
In March this year, just as Ireland will be toasting a record number of nominations at the actual Oscars in Los Angeles, closer to home NCBI will be featuring prominently in the annual digital Spider Awards in Dublin. Not for the first time either – last year NCBI was nominated for five Spider awards and brought home one for Best Remote Team.
The 5 categories in which NCBI has been nominated this year are:
- Best App – myNCBI SmartHub
- Best Podcast – Talking Technology with NCBI Labs
- Digital Team of the Year – NCBI Labs
- Best Use of Disruptive Technology – myNCBI SmartHub
- Best in Universal Design – Vision Sports Website
The visionsports.ie website was nominated by NCBI Labs who worked closely on its development with vision sports staff. The result was a fully inclusive and accessible Vision Sports Ireland website that provides a great user experience for all its visitors.
Members of the both the NCBI Labs and Vision Sports Ireland teams will be present at The Spiders taking place on March 3rd at the Mansion House in Dublin.
