Note: Participants are welcome to bring along a family member/friend as a guide. NCBI will have a small number of volunteer guides attending on the day.

Transport: Please let us know about transport needs as we will be able to transport to and from Heuston Station on the day.

 In-person Event details: The group will be guided on a gentle forest walk using a series of research-based nature engagement invitations to explore their connection to nature to experience the many health & wellbeing benefits.

We hope the groups will leave the events ready to embrace the present season with a renewed sense of community, a strong understanding of how they personally connect with nature and with valuable tools to use as they slowly move through into the present season.

Walk Structure:

  • Welcome & intro
  • Make our way into nature
  • Opening circle
  • Information about the benefits of nature for wellbeing
  • Forest bathing and season-based invitations
  • Closing circle & group photo
  • Invitation for participants to continue the work themselves after the event.
