Join us for a new Advocacy Talks event to discover the impactful work of the Employment, Training, and Academia team. The team provides crucial services in employee retention, job-seeking, and educational advancement. Part of its integral work is offering support to Vision Ireland service users and employers across the country, ensuring an accessible workplace environment. Additionally, through the National Training Centre, the team provides vital skills for people who wish to upskill and continue their educational path, from QQI programmes and Braille literacy to orientation and mobility training.
On this occasion, our presenters will be the dynamic duo of Workplace Integration and Partner Officers (WIPOs), Shane Merritt and Martina Melvan. They will share their passion for improving diversity and inclusion practices in the workplace, as well as their team’s commitment to fostering awareness of accessibility and inclusion.
