Are you someone with a disability and a passion for entrepreneurship? If so, we have exciting news for you! AIB is generously supporting a groundbreaking TU Dublin online course, ‘Entrepreneurship for People with Disabilities,’ starting on September 20th, 2023.
This 12-week course hosted and delivered by TU Dublin’s Continuing Professional Development programme, aims to empower individuals who self-identify as having a disability and dream of starting their own business. Whether you have a brilliant business idea or are looking to develop one, this course is designed to help you turn your inspiration into a sustainable reality.
Aspiring entrepreneurs will cover a diverse range of topics during the course, including idea evaluation, customer segmentation, clarifying value propositions, financial projections, and much more. Plus, the course will explore distinctive challenges that individuals with disabilities may face while becoming self-employed.
To ensure an enriching experience, the course also brings in guest speakers, role models, and subject experts to inspire and guide participants throughout the journey. Upon successful completion, participants will receive 5 ECTS credits at NFQ Level 6. As students of TU Dublin, they will also gain access to an array of resources, including the library and disability support services.
