Vision Ireland Retail chain has stores in every county. All profits raised in the shops fund the delivery of our front-line services to people who are blind or vision impaired. We work with children and adults across the country with a range of programmes and services, all designed to ensure the individual can live life confidently and independently.

Role Title:  Administration Assistant in Cherry Orchard Business Park 

Overview of Role:

Assist with a variety of admin tasks including answering and making phone calls. Logging deliveries and collections. General database entry.

Key Tasks:

  • Answering and making calls
  • Logging the deliveries and collections on system
  • Advising drivers of any specific details regarding collections
  • General data entry

Location: Cherry Orchard Business Park, Dublin

Commitment: 4 hours once/ twice a week

Manage By: Office Administrator

Skills and Experience Required

  • Knowledge of general admin practice
  • Comfortable talking over the phone
  • Computer Literate
  • Good Communication skills
  • Organised
  • Experience working in logistics a bonus but not essential

Training and Induction

  • Overview of Vision Ireland
  • Volunteer team meet & greet.
  • Induction provided on volunteer role on commencement
