The Braille Sense 6 has the amazing ability to download third-party apps directly from the Google Play store. In this edition  of our braille articles, we will be going over how you can download third-party apps

When you first power on your braille sense, you will be placed into the main menu of the device, if you are in a different program when you power on the device, press F1 and you will be placed in the main menu.

Navigate down the program list until you reach “Play Store” and press enter. This can also be achieved by pressing the letter P on the Perkins-style keyboard.

When the program is loaded you will be prompted to log in to your Google account; if you do not have a Google account you will need to create one, but for this article, we will assume that you already have a Google account,

Once you have inputted your login information you will be able to navigate through the Google Play Store and download and search for apps.

To be able to search for an app navigate to the search button, press enter to input your search query, and then press enter again.

Once the page has loaded with programs/products that are related to your search query, several different apps/programs will be displayed to you.

Once you have found the program that you wish to download, press enter and then navigate to the install button and press enter; the download will take a few moments depending on the size of the program and the speed of your internet.

To find the program you downloaded, press F1 to return you to the home page and then move down to all apps, through the subsection of programs will be located all the Android programs that are pre-installed on the device as also where all the third-party apps will be placed when you download them.
